Ice fishing is an adventure of its own, also known as Finnish meditation. Drill a hole through the thick ice with an auger, bait the hook and wait for a bite and catch a perch or a whitefish! Our guide will take you with a minivan to a safe place on a frozen lake in the middle of the forest and explain you how the basic ice fishing gear works. Try your luck and see if you can a match the Lappish fishermen.

What is the activity about
The beauty of ice fishing lies in its simplicity. A session of ice fishing could almost be counted as a sort of meditation. Whilst waiting patiently for something to happen – your mind clears itself unexpectedly and effortlessly. Infinity and silence are the key factors here. Catching fish is a bonus, not the purpose. This activity does not have an age restriction but small children might not understand the beauty of silence and the excitement of waiting for the fish to bite. Regardless, everyone can appreciate the thrill of a bite! This is a wonderful experience in breathtakingly beautiful surroundings.
